Kenneth has years of experience in private tutoring, exam prep, and classroom teaching. Friendly and attentive to the learning pace of his students, Kenneth is passionate about maximising their potential, communicating their passions, and guiding them towards a joy of learning.
He was previously an academic and policy researcher for the National Institute of Education and the Ministry of Education. He holds an Honours (Distinction) degree in Political Science from the National University of Singapore (NUS), and a Master’s (Distinction) degree in Music Composition from the University of Aberdeen. A recipient of the NUS Dean’s List Award and prestigious Carlaw-Ogston Master of Music Scholarship, he has a track record of stellar academic performance. Moreover, as an accomplished writer, he has published scholarly articles in Psychology of Music, a top-tier academic journal.
Outside of his passion for coaching and teaching, Kenneth loves choral music, and in addition to his output as a composer, he sings, conducts, and deputises in various ensembles around Singapore.
